  • Do you accommodate children or babies ?

    No. We are an adults-only accommodation.

  • What is the earliest I can Check-in?

    Standard check-in time is 2pm, unless prior arrangements have been made.

  • Can I arrive late?

    Yes, self check-in available. Manager on site.

  • Are your rooms non-smoking?

    Yes, all rooms at Ashwood Cottages are non-smoking.

  • Do you have Free wireless internet?

    Yes, we do.  We also have smart TVs that you can log into using your own streaming services

  • Do you have an outdoor entertainment area?

    Yes, we have a garden BBQ area.

  • How close are you to the shops?

    It is 2 minutes by car to town, where you will find restaurants, cafes, pubs, bars, specialty shops, takeaway food, an IGA, and Woolworths. 

  • How close are you to restaurants?

    Ashwood Cottages is a short 2 minute drive to restaurants or a 25 minute walk along the Canyon walk (by day) or The Rail Trail, 30 minutes.

  • What is your Cancellation Policy?

    Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to check in. Minimum 1 month for peak periods. Cancellations received less than 7 days before will forfeit one night’s accommodation. Cancellations made after 14 days will incur a $30 fee and the 1.5% credit card fee (if applicable). **Date changes will incur a Fee of $30.

  • How do I guarantee my booking?

    At the time of booking via our website, the whole amount is taken including the 1.5% credit card fee. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer (no fees) please email or call to book. One night accommodation is required to confirm your booking. Your balance is due 1 month prior to arrival.  **Except for Long weekend or School holidays when balance is due 2 months prior to arrival.

  • Do you have log fires?

    Yes.

  • Do you allow pets?

    No sorry but there pet farmstay nearby please contact us for details or visit https://www.brightboardingkennels.com/

  • Do the cottages have ovens?

    Sorry we do not have ovens. Gas BBQ, Electric stove tops, Convection microwave, dish washer (except Fleurbaix cottage) & fridge/freezer. Slow cooker on request.

  • Is tea, coffee and milk supplied?

    We supply instant coffee, tea bags, sugar, and a small UHT milk.

  • Is there an ironing board?

    Yes an iron and ironing board are available in the guest laundry with the dryer and washing machine as well as laundry powder and softener.

  • Do you sell Gift Vouchers?

    Yes, we do. Please contact us for details.
